Morpheus Software
Morpheus Software produces and markets the world’s leading digital photo animation software titles, available via the web at www.MorpheusSoftware.net. The company’s flagship product, Morpheus Photo Morpher, has been downloaded over 6 million times by digital photo users worldwide. Morpheus Software’s complete line of software titles includes Morpheus Photo Morpher for morphing and transforming one person or object into another, Morpheus Photo Warper for distorting and exaggerating portions of photos such as body parts, Morpheus Photo Mixer for mixing up faces and body parts between two photos, Morpheus Photo Animation Suite, a deluxe animation package containing each of the three products plus 15 sample animations, and Morpheus Photo Compressor for compressing and sharing photos.

Company Origins

In 1999, Morpheus Software Co-Founder Ryan Rubley created the first, basic version of Morpheus Photo Morpher while studying computer science at Grand Valley State University in Michigan. Ryan wanted to create image morphing software superior to the morphing programs available at that time and typically used only by professional animators.

Ryan co-founded Morpheus Software with Dan Engel, a former marketing executive at two digital photo software companies, Picasa (sold to Google) and Sanity Software (sold to Broderbund). Dan had led online marketing at Expertcity’s GoToMyPC (acquired by Citrix Systems) after having been an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at idealab! during the dot com era.

Morpheus Today

Today, Morpheus is a commercial success enjoyed by millions of people worldwide, and has been recognized by CNET, PC Magazine, Bloomberg, and various other industry sources.
